‘His creativity is an open space that he arranges from time to time.’, Gianfranco Ferré. He was born in Marsciano, Perugia, in 1979. After his early artistic training in Deruta, he specialised in graphics anddesign at the prestigious Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Artistiche in Urbino. He has worked with some of the most famous brands in Italian and international fashion like Alberta Ferretti and Marithè and Francois Girbaud, even working with Gianfranco Ferré as a member of the creative staff of the Maison. In 2010, he founded his Fashion Design Studio in Turin, assembling a team of highly qualified professionals. He claims collaboration with prominent international figures and,especially in Shanghai, is considered one of the most interesting emerging designers, due to his creative production, whichranges from fashion to designer ceramics, from graphics to textiles. He holds classes and workshops in his speciality and teaches personal design at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan.

PVD, which stands for Physical Vapour Deposition, gives the objects exceptional colours and shades. It consists of the deposition of metallic particles through vaporization in a vacuum chamber. The coating is welded on an atomic level to the stainless steel, giving the material greater hardness and resistance to rubbing and corrosion, thereby preventing the formation of rust or oxides. Thanks to the use of non-toxic materials such as titanium and zirconium, PVD is also used in the biomedical field as scalpels or surgical blades.
The monobloc knife is made as a single piece of steel. Compared to the hollow-handled knife, which consists of two parts, in the one-piece knife there are no gaps between the handle and blade. When you hold this type of knife, you get a pleasant feeling of solidity

PVD - CLEANING: For daily cleaning, wash by hand or in thedishwasher with the maximum dilution ofa delicate liquid detergent. WASHING: For hand washing, always rinse thoroughly; dry well with a clean, soft cloth. If adishwasher is used that does not havea complete rinse and dry cycle, finishdrying by hand. Do not leave items in thedishwasher at the end of the wash cycle. Use only soft cloths for all cleaning andmaintenance purposes. Do not use steelscourers, abrasive sponges or abrasivepowders, nor steel burnish machines; their use could comprise the quality of the PVD layer. For removal of potential stains (lime orwash residue), soak in hot water. If thereare particularly stubborn marks, add a glass of vinegar to the soaking. Avoid prolonged contact with foodproducts, such as tomato residues,mayonnaise, eggs, coffee, red wine, salt,vinegar, etc.
